Blackhampton Wanderers Announce New Manager

New first-team manager Blackhampton Wanderers have appointed Colin Pratt as their new manager, just hours after Ray Hutchings left the club to take charge at Stourgate Town.

Pratt arrives from Dunton Town, where he spent four seasons, and takes over a Blackhampton side still adjusting to life after Hutchings.

‘I know Colin well from the Kent Large Moulded Fittings set-up,’ said Blackhampton chairman Derek Small. ‘He did a solid job at Dunton and we’re confident he can build on what Ray started here, even if Ray only started it about six hours before he left.’

Pratt said he was ’looking forward to the challenge’ and confirmed he had already spoken to several of the Blackhampton players by phone, though not yet in person, as he was still driving back from Dunton at the time of the appointment.
